  With Clan [PTG] celebrating in 2009, their 4th birthday, we saw it fit to update and
  upgrade our home (by way of a Christmas present to ourselves).


  You can already see our new homepage but you may not of seen our new forums.
  Having started out using phpBB, we moved on to SMF which has served us well but
  the one forum regarded by many as the best and most secure is VBulletin,
  unfortunately VB comes with a hefty price tag but that hasn't deterred us whilst we
  focus on the great games due out during the next 12 months.


  So as 2009 approaches we're sure it will be a great year for as far as us gamers are
  concerned. With titles such as the following and many more, we can't wait:




  • ArmA 2

  • Operation Flashpoint 2 Dragon Rising

  • Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

  • Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor

  • cryostasis

  • Mirrors Edge

Clan [PTG] are now actively recruiting the new wave of players. We would like to welcome everyone who is visiting the site for the first time and hope you like the look of the place :)


We currently play COD4 competitively and so are primarily recruiting members in that game but we are also on the look out for players to play the games of the future for [PTG] so recruitment is open to everyone. Below is the shorthand for what we are after, if you fit the bill and want to give us a go, then fill out an application inside the recruitment office forum.

In case you missed our Christmas Email about our new forums, then read on.


As 2008 approaches, [PTG] thought it would be a nice change to have an upgrade on the forums. Having tested various forum software, we settled on SMF due to what it offers against its cost. As it was free, the decision was an easy one.


The downside in the move was the convertor to add the member database, curently doesn't work properly, so new accounts are needed. A minor dent in the move, but one that will be worth it.

Crysis Server Proves Popular11/19/2007

So after just 24 hours of going live, our Crysis server is proving a hit. Just like BF2, we have managed to fill our server from the off. With open recruiting for Crysis players we are sure to have a happy relationship with the game.


Speaking of Recruiting, you may be reading this with the mindset that you would like to join our clan. All recruitment information can be found in the recruiting forum. In there you will be greeted by not only [PTG] members, but the three guys who run recruitment.

You will also find a whole wealth of info on how to join us. Joining usually begins with being on ventrilo and chatting with the lads. Be sure to have the latest version of ventrilo so you can connect. If you have any problems then post up in our Ventrilo forum and we will gladly be of assistance.
